The gold of Maremma – the olive oil

La Concordia's olive grove is located on our 5-hectare property, which faces south, slopes, and is exposed to the sun.
Since we don't live in nature, but WITH nature, we practice exclusively organic and economic farming. This means we avoid the use of chemical additives and our olive trees grow and thrive using natural resources. The Mediterranean climate, the clayey soil, and the salty air contribute to our ability to harvest high-quality, healthy olives. Avoiding the use of chemical products protects the environment and ultimately our health as well. We harvest our olives by hand; the harvest is a labor of love, during which we are in the HERE and NOW and can be part of nature. We respect our olive trees and are grateful for our yield every year.
Enjoy the Mediterranean taste of an exceptional and precious natural product from the Maremma.

Harvest time
The harvest takes place in autumn, i.e., in October/November, when our olives are ripe and temperatures are still pleasant.
Organic farming
We rely on organic farming methods to ensure sustainable and environmentally friendly production.
Maremma
The Maremma, a region in southern Tuscany, is known for its olive groves and the production of high-quality olive oil.
Traditional harvest
The olive harvest is an important part of Tuscan culture, and our harvest takes place together with locals. For the people of the Maremma (Maremmani), the olive harvest is both a passion and a source of enthusiasm. Our goal is not profit, but to harvest a product of nature sustainably.
Working in the olive grove is meant to be a tribute to the diversity and beauty of these plants and to the Tuscan way of life itself.
